As part of the curriculum requirements, students of semester 6th visited the Mental Hospital Dadar, located in Mansehra. The visit aimed to provide students with a practical understanding of mental health care and psychiatric practices.

The students were warmly received and guided by Dr. Ehsan Naveed Irfan, who provided insightful information about the hospital’s facilities, operations, and treatment approaches. Accompanied by their subject teacher, Mr. Mumtaz Ali, the students explored various departments of the hospital, including the outpatient clinics, inpatient wards, and therapy rooms. Dr. Ehsan elaborated on the challenges faced by mental health professionals and the evolving trends in psychiatry.

The visit provided students with an opportunity to observe real-life applications of theoretical knowledge. They engaged in discussions, asked questions, and gained a deeper understanding of the psychological and emotional support provided to patients.
